Was just wondering whats the status of the membership ? I understand its closed to 'public'

Whats the costs for PPL. I know the basic fees of Class2, IAA Exams but whats the 'Total' Cost ?

thanks for your query.
Membership in Trim has been closed for roughly 3 years until about 3 weeks ago.
This was due to the fact that TFC is a private operation with instructors who operate on a part time basis, couple this with the high request rate the club has received for membership and very quickly the list was building up, more then the club could process, so this needed to be curtailed.
We are currently taking names for membership (valid March2008) however based on this, your name will still need to go on a waiting list as has always been the case with most clubs. At this point we are unable to say how long the waiting list will be, 3-6 months, maybe ever 12months.The flying season and the weather for 2008 will play a great part in this.

Regarding the "total" cost for a PPL, this is an exercise the club needs to review and take all factors into account, including medical, IAA exams, flight test etc. We will work on this and I'll publish it as soon as the figues come in.

Those documents about the charges would be great to review, not only for me but for the wider community.
How can you "put your name" on the waiting list ? It would be most greatful if i could be entered onto the list . As i can only imagine the size of this waiting list.
